B’simcha offers a Mehudar pair of Tefilin for the Bar Mitzvah boy at a reduced cost of $1,975 (subject to change). The retail price for such a pair is between $2,700 and $3,000. The Halachic standards are overseen by Rav Shaul Katz. To be eligible for this program one must use the Bar Mitzva package listed above or make a homemade Seuda.
